Can you tell us a little more about yourself?
I am an Aquarius. I like long walks on the beach and candle lit dinners. Oops, probably not what you're looking for. I was born and raised in the Cedar Valley. A UNI grad. Been married over 18yrs, and no I am not 50. I have 3 kids, 16, 14, and 12. 4 if you count the dog. Enjoy all sorts of activities including golf, cards, coaching, and 12 oz curls.
What led you to work in this field and or how many positions have you held at FSB?
It was my first job in college as a customer service rep fora local institution. Even back then I enjoyed finding opportunities(cross-selling) for our clients and have always liked working with numbers. The banking industry is a perfect fit.
What's your process for turning a bad day into a good one?
If you look at all, it doesn't take long to identify there are others that have it a lot worse than you do. It helps me put into perspective how good I really have it.
What activities do you participate in over the weekend?
I am an unpaid taxi driver, taking my kids from one event or practice to another. When not driving, I am a professional youth sports fan. Spending a lot of time at complexes across the state.
What's one thing that has made you smile recently?
My oldest getting his first job, he is slowly moving off my payroll.
Do you have any pets? What are they like?
We have a 2 yr. old mini Bernedoodle (Oakley). He is a lot like me; tons of hair, small, and likes to run. My wife and daughter didn't do their research well, they wanted a lap dog so got a mini, he weighs 70lbs...
