Hi, my name is Pam de Neui and on March 12th I will be celebrating 20 years with FSB!
Learn more about me here! 👇🏼
Can you tell us a little more about yourself?
Grew up in the Aplington/Dumont area all my life and went to college at UNI. After that I married my husband Dale (32 years now) and we have three daughters, Amanada, Cassie and Abby. We currently live in Dunkerton and will probably be lifers there.
What led you to work in this field and or how many positions have you held at FSB?
I started working part-time in banking in high school through my business class and have been doing it more or less ever since. I have had the privilege of working with the customers in the front line and now I currently hang out in the Deposit Group.
What's your process for turning a bad day into a good one?
Uffda, bad days stink, but the best advice I have is to take a second to take a step back and look at the situation rather than to react right away. A lot of times it may not be as bad as what you think, or you may be able to come up with a solution that will hopefully not make the day so bad.
Share the best piece of advice anyone has ever given you!
Life is short so do the things you love and be around people that make you happy.
What activities do you participate in over the weekend?
We love to visit our kids, make a long weekend up at the cabin, go to an Iowa State game, Antique/flea market shopping or just hanging with friends on the deck or out for supper.
List three items on your bucket list!
Travel, travel, travel. I really don't have an agenda where but to just take off and go and see all the sights I have never seen yet.
What's one thing that has made you smile recently?
The fact that spring is coming makes me smile. I am over winter.
How would you describe your job and its responsibilities to small children?
hmmmm....I am going to go with something very simple. I take care of mom and dad's money.
Do you have any pets? What are they like?
No pets currently but I do have 3 grandkitties. Remmi (Black cat), Winnie (orange cat that Catherine rescued), and the newest addition Henry (another black cat). Maybe someday I will get a cat or two again but for now the grandkitties will do.
If time travel existed, where would you be heading and why?
Back to when I was little. Not because I want a do over but because I would love to appreciate my parents, brother, grandparents, and the rest of the family more. Like I said, life is short.
