By the end of next week FSB is rolling out a postcard to Waterloo residents covering the FHLB (Federal HomeLoan Bank) program called Home$tart. Here are some of the qualifications of the program…
· You need to be a First Time Homebuyer
· These funds can help with their Down Payment and Closing Costs
· They can get up to $15,000 to help with these costs
· Income limitations do apply
· Funds are limited so once they are gone, they are gone
Along with FHLB, there are other grant monies that they could possibly qualify for too…FSB Grant Monies, IFA First Home Program & IFA Military Homeownership Assistance which makes it so important for them to talk to a Mortgage Loan Officer to help determine what would be best for their situation.
